Nutricia had initially bought an existing platform from the American market. Unfortunately the system was complicated, full of error, and its functional range was not compatible with the needs of the users.
However, not wanting to abandon their operations for young patients, Nutricia had decided that they need a dedicated solution tailored to individual needs of patients and dieticians. They leaned toward the WordPress system, already tested in other projects.
During the consultation of projects we had, however, convinced the Client that a dedicated platform written from scratch is the best solution for them. The implementation of the system was a great success.
From the very beginning we had been designing the platform with implementation in other countries in mind. Currently, we're working on delivering custom-made solutions to other national branches of the Nutricia company - so that other patients have greater chances of curing their disease.
Advanced and graphically-improved platform
Keto Planner is an international platform for patients requiring dedicated dietary support. The objective of the new Ketoplanner platform is to enable even more effective cooperation of specialised staff of dieticians and parents of children who require a special dietary programme.
Constant contact on the Patient – Dietitian line
Users of the website can talk in real time via the Online Chat functionality. This enables dieticians to adjust diet to treatment effects, and Parents receive professional dietary support dedicated for their children.
Optimisation
One of the key functionalities of the platform is the nutrition calculator which enables the carers to automatically calculate calorie needs of patients with division into macro-components of high accuracy. Everything takes place in real time, in a completely automatised way and without the need for the patient to count.
Improvements
Thanks to providing a range of useful functionalities we have contributed to the increase of comfort of use of the KetoPlanner website. The feedback received from users proves that users are very pleased with the ease of use of the website and its intuitiveness and the improvements in communication, because we have put emphasis on live communication which has never before been that easy.
Client about the project
We have been working with HighSolutions since 2016 on KetoPlanner - an international platform for dieticians and patients requiring specialist nutritional support.
